Gong Hei Fatt Choi!!~ New Dog~~

Went to my sister's new house with my mum, my bro and my sis-in-law. My sis said her friend's Japanese boss has a Sausage dog to give away coz they are going back to japan on this Friday after 2yrs here. So, my mum decide to adopt this dog. His name is Momo Tako. He came home with us at 2.30pm.

Momo is x 1 size of Bao bei. He barks whenever he sees strangers or anyone walking past. He is super heavy,,i think 12kg. I dont have the strength to carry his.

He is toilet trained but today, he didnt perform. He is not familiar with us and our place yet. Thus, he pees and poo everywhere in the kitchen.

Seem he understands only Japanese. His J-mommy packed 3 big bags of his stuffs for us. He has got 1 XL bottle of vitamin pills and 1 small bottle of vitamin pills, teeth powder and cloth, a big stainless steel eating bowl, a half a kg of dried XL size ikan billis (as his snack), a good quality leash with his name writen, a 50pcs bag of pamper like kind of sheet for his toilet use and a large tray as an area for his poo and pees. He must have had a very luxury life with his previous owner. No wonder pets biz is soo profitable. Japanese really spend big time on their pets.

His plastic toy in red..it's like a dried poo. He's got another one in pink too.

He turned to another position. The red bag is his barangs.

Didnt sleep well since last Monday,,kept having some weird and fast moving dreams. It disrupted my sleep. It was such grouchy week for me.

This week is a new beginning, the Year of Ox. I want to make it a more progressive year than last year.

My supplier said she cannot help me sell the clothes anymore coz she is busy. Yday i replied her saying i would prefer to have a sole account for all my clothes. I think she dont want to apply for it even though i offer her my credit card number to open the account. She has one account but she sells assorted items like books, used clothes etc). I think it is a better idea to have an account by myself because it is like my shop. I also asked her if she need any Chinese items, i can help her buy. She replied "Japanese dont like Chinese goods". I know they have fear or anti-China but den,,most of their things are from China now. Perhaps she is speaking of herself? Enquired with an Italian ebay seller about a wallet im interested. The shipping was:

1. EMS (5-6days) - 90Euro
2. Regular air mail (20-25days)- 50Euro.

A small accomplishment today. Cleaned the top part of the kitchen cabinet this evening. It took me 1 hr..still ok lah,,removed all the barangs inside the 2 layers. wiped all the corners, change the anti-cockroach paper and put all barangs back in again. My mum cleaned other parts of this cabinet last few days,,the top part was quite difficult coz got to climb up and down. So, i didnt it with a little breeze..

Yday, around 6pm, emailed my supplier if she is interested to sell those nicey dresses from China at Japan's yahoo auction. Till now, she didnt send a single email. I wondered if she is still thinking of a nicey reason to say she is not interested? I showed her the urls too..

Should i reply her and tell her 'if u r not interested, it is ok. Pls do not mind?" It aint easy to understand a Japanese coz what they say or dont say might not be what they actually mean.

Another 2 local kuku diru fans kept asking abt diru's tour tees and older mags with diru on cover. Told them the prices (diru's tee are all S$150 and above n mags are cheap but shipping is very costly). They cant seem to comprehend this..kept saying "wah,y all soo ex." The funniest thing is,,one of them replied "the diru's tee at ebay is only us90". I replied 'i dunno abt ebay but i know, after shipping, the ebay tee will also cost around S$150 or more. It doesnt matter whether u get it from ebay or japan. they are all abt the same price".

I find their questions quite silly coz ALL diru's goods are really very very very feaky costly! That is their market rate. Whenever i replied them the prices, they freak like mad. Diru's goods are far more costly than any regular bands. They are in the same tier as X Japan. Unless u buy at the venue,,else,,all tour goods are at least double or triple the original price. Understand these 2 fans really loves Diru,,but then,,they should at least find out their good's price range before saying 'wah,so expensive.". It makes them look soo newbie and naive. If i get fed up anytime, will tell them "pls buy it at the venue, it is the cheapest and u might be able to buy the full range."

Just read today's Zao Pao. There is a news about a 26yo Sporean girl who starts a business in Akihabara selling and introducing anime and games products to Japanese and Foreigners. She has a niche coz she knows how to speak Japanese and English. So, she can help Japanese companies promote their gadgets to foreign anime fans. She sells her idea to Japanese companies and they invest in her biz. It was an inspiring read.

Still waiting for Lp's sister to transfer 300bucks for her orders. Had informed her to transfer it since thu but till today, there is still no news from her. They should have at least a courtesy to reply, irregardless of watever reason. Like the glay goods,,also never reply.. i wonder why they are "muted".

Had a shocking discovery yesterday. Met a customer in the evening and she told me the luna sea's 1999 Zepp Tokyo countdown live was for FC only. Wah,,after 8 years then i discover!~ Im such an air head.. Went with Yusaku-san as it was an "invisible ticket". I didnt see or have the ticket at all.

X Japan will be having live in HK on 1.17..Gem is going *envious* But i paiseh to ask him help me buy the t-shirt coz i not too familiar with him.

The Chinese government had in fact made efforts to destroy hundreds of tons of these oranges and compensate the farmers for these. But however some culprit may still sell it illegally. That's why we need to be careful.

Replied 47yo to stay positive coz her bf's $ is on the way (well, if tat is true). She replied:

Err, for wat jobs? Maybe to standby just in case got companies looking for staffs (her industry is white collar staffs).

Not sure if she is speaking the truth abt going to interview the candidate or trying to "act busy". Sometimes, cant help but feel tat she is spunning a web of lies...esp her bf is giving her all his savings and she has more than 200k in her cpf. For the cpf thingy, if tat is the case, i wonder y she didnt buy a hbd flat 12yrs ago since she is over 35, single and can buy a small resale flat. If she did this, she can still survive without a job coz she can rent out 1 or 2 rooms.

Guess it is difficult for some people to be authentic, to be really who they are.

Opened emailed and alas,,one of the mail was from 47yo. OMG,,she is grumpy. She said she is on commission based now and dont need to go to the office anymore. She practically list out wat time she is doing wat (eg, 9am i will go out and look for clients who wants to hire staffs, 12pm go lunch, 2pm haircut, 6pm go home). And said "no biz no money lor. Wat is ur msn id? i got a 24mth modem from m1, so i can chat with u online and i leave it on when i go to sleep". She is filled with so much negativity.

Last Sun, she said her savings can only last her till end of feb. After that, she'll wait for her bf to transfer all his savings to her. Dunno if he will really do that? He promised to transfer 10k to her since Sept but till now, she havent seen a single cent. Im worried she is living in false hope. She is a living eg of a paycheck holder and "if u dont take care of ur $, your $ wont take care of you."

Nonetheless, shall drop her a few motivational lines to kill off some of her negativity. She is not used to being self-employed coz she mentioned on last sun tat she failed at an interview at estee lauder coz she didnt put her age. Siao one,,if for me, i will put my age if not employers think i am not honest.

I try not to get close to her because im afraid her negativity is spill onto me. Those negative kinectics.. I am positive and abundance!~ Like today, i sold a hide's skull earring at ebay. Almost everyday,,i sell stuffs or attend to enquires. Selling myv's calendar at ebay. the previous seller sold it for us95. i hope it can fetch somewhere around this price.

Last night Lp's sister placed an order for her enquiry. Yday noon, i emailed her sis to ask if she wants to order some glay goods (coz they like glay too) as ther is a customer who wants to order. She replied only her order but didnt reply on the glay goods. Today, the customer placed her order,,so i processed only the customer's order. I wonder they need to take such a long time (maybe 1 week?) to reply whether they want to order anot. Nah, will not wait for them. I have a thing for ppl who have no sense of urgency. If they want to order, will tell them i didnt wait for them coz glay's goods can go out of stock fast. U think in life, everything will wait for you?

A mei mei smsed yday to say Tim (BA) didnt sell her a Baby dress coz it was on the mannequin. She wanted to buy it so badly and even copied down all the details of the dress from the official site and was happy to see it at BA. Too bad, can see but cannot buy. They said their next shipment is in feb,,so it is not in time for CNY. Abit strange coz i wonder why cant buy even if it is on the mannequin?

Den, she proceed to far east (BR and H) but they dont have want she wanted (of coz lah,,they barely carry official stuffs). She literally spent the whole afternoon yday to search for a lolita dress.

Mei mei smsed awhile ago asking if there's anymore lolita brands. Mentioned to her about Bodyline. It is Made in China and Alice is carrying it. She replied "eh,,but i didnt see this brand in Gothic and Lolita". Lolz...replied 'of coz lah,they are a rip off of h.naoto and baby, the stars shine bright." She then asked for the Bodyline url..she didnt mentioned about Alice.

Received Kaori's email this evening. She said dunno why her keitai didnt send out an email for me on xmas eve and she just realised. So, she cut and paste from her keitai and send it out to me from her yahoo account. She has a prolonged cold and had asked her to try out ginger tea or hot lemon water. All must make from the scratch to have the max effect. She is also studying book keeping course and will finish the course at the end of feb. After that, she will look for a job. Not sure if she is not working now. Sometimes, i dont quite figure out their Engrish. Still, Kaori's English is very good coz she can speak a proper English sentence.

The News fangirl (aka Kisaki fan) has just paid S$265 for a ticket to watch News live on this Sunday in Osaka. She'll depart on Friday. *envious*. It is really ex,,,my Arashi friend also paid around this price for her 2 show's of Arashi live last year. To see Yamapi live, i think it is worth it. Imagine wanting to see Jin or Kame?! (must have deep pocket for that). It is very financially tough to be a Johnny's fangirl. Go to Johnny's shop also need to queue like mad.

Luckily we are jrock fans..the most only need to queue for tour goods.

This evening, the news reported (once again, reiterating) that workers go for upgrading because by end of this month, there will be more people being retrenched (sort of asking u to standby for this bad news). Many schools for those upgrading courses will increase their capacity of intake.

Well, so wat if u got a certificate after retraining? Spore depends greatly on exports, so, if international communities dont order goods from us, it doesnt matter if u have honour or masters degrees.. there is no jobs available. Told 47yo abt this on Sunday and she said "ya lor, im so tired of being in and out of jobs for the past 2oyrs! We are really at the mercy of employers and the economy".

Another scenario is after u have completed ur upgrading, u must need to vie for lower end jobs because it is near impossble u get back to similar jobs with similar pay. Thus, no choice but to accept menial jobs with low pay and long hours. Grumble? Nvm, many ppl is hungry for this job if u dont want.

An article ive came across said something very true. Singapore dont have companies that are among the top few in specific industry in the world. Eg, Taiwan (Semi conductor chips), Japan (Sony, Toyota) and Korea (Samsung, Hyundai). Demands worldwide for cars, chips etc are hugh enough to create employment for it's local citizens.

Besides urging us to upgrade our skills, surely our 1st world govt can do much more than this.

Strange sms...

Got a strange sms from 47yo fren at noon today. The message says:

Im gonna call you and say something stupid. Pls play along. Thanks.

I dont know what she meant, so didnt reply her. Think if i replied her, she will call me and say something stupid. It is really strange why she sms such thing..

Met up with her yday for lunch. Her new online biz is selling ipoh white coffee and batik. Said her bf is trasferring her more than S$10k (aka "all his savings") in the coming weeks (it has been months since she first mentioned about the S$10k her bf is transferring) because he feels that she has suffered enough. Seriously, for this friend, im not sure what she said is true. Now, all i do is just listen.

Met LP on sat. She said something that made me rolled my eyes. "My mum wants me to find a bf tat is 5-10yrs older then me (her bf is 2 yrs younger than her and her mum dun like her bf) BUT, men from mid 35 onwards are all Divorcees!". HUH?? I wonder what makes her think like that. Told her "if tat is the case, you have a CHOICE not to choose a Divorcess as a bf!". Isnt it common sense?? Cant tahan coz it seems she is sooo helpless without realising that in life, you have a Choice. She is stuck in the middle between her bf and her mum..

These are a few funny stuffs from this book.

1. Stupid ppl who didnt on their printers/pcs and thought these machines died on them. So, they called the helpdesk and the first thing the staff asked was "is the plug being switched on? Is the machine being switched on?" Haha,,this are exactly the same questions asked a few years back when i called the HP hotline when my deskstop was not working!

2. Datas are transmitted by 1000000 bytes. The "0" can bend themselves and move smoothly within the cable but the "1" will get jammed. So, the cables must always be stretched regularly to ensure datas are transmitted smoothly. Technicians will bluff office staffs about this and they actually believe!

Always enjoyed the Dilbert comic strips,they are funny and relevant in workplace.

Encountered a not-too-intelligent email awhile ago. Unfortunately, the sender is LP's sister. 1st email enquired about the price of Lead's tour goods, with 10 urls. Had replied it promptly. 3omins later, another email, asking for the price of the same 10 urls but in different format. The new format was 1 url with 6 item codes below it and 2nd url with 4 item codes below it. I opened another window to compare wat's the diff between the 1st and 2nd email. Alamak,,both were asking for the same items. So, replied 'pls refer to 1st email". The bozo filter came to my mind. Zhen qi kuai,,dunno why she re-format the 2nd email but ask for the same items.

Someone local enquired about gazette 3/10 tour liao,,but dun hve info,,ask him to enquire again early feb..since tix will be on sale on 2/14. This day, X Japan will be having live in Taiwan!~

Today our news said Spore's growth forecast is -2 to 1% this year. Seriously, i just feel, whether it shrinks or improves, employees dont get their pay rise accordingly (except our ministers get their pay rise when economy is doing well but not the workers) but got pay cut when economy is bad. Just like the excuse of Transport fares not linked to Oil. We are always at the shorter end of the stick.

There's also report on this evening's news about Japanese queeing up to buy 福袋. If i were there, i will chiong to Shinjuku coz there's alot of shopping malls in that area. Yday watched the 8pm Channel U (or channel 8)'s Shen Qian Wang by Quan yifeng and Ah Ben. They introduce Tokyu Hands. I didnt know there are Porter bags in Tokyu Hands. Only been to the Ikebukuro branch and the ground floor has a wall of keitai straps,,,see until blur,,,tat time no time to slowly shop,,so whizzed out of the store within 5mins coz not sure wat to buy from Tokyo Hands.

Just received one sms from a mei mei,,she tot tml's meet up is 3pm. luckily she check now,,else tml she will be there at 3pm and waiting,,,lolz

Oh yes, Wed brought an extra gaze calendar and guess wat?? When i return to cityhall for a meet up at 4pm, the customer who cant make it for that day's meet up was also waiting at the same place! She was waiting for a friend. So, i quickly passed her the calendar,,den dun need to bring home,,haha,,it was such a lovely coincidence! She saved a trip on this sat too. Miracles in the making..lolz.
