Kiasi "soon-to-be" Graduates

This article reminds me of last year, our ST reported that many U students opt for Banking and Finance coz that is where the $$$ is. One student told the reporter "I hope to land on a banking job that pays me more than S$5000/mth after i graduate so i can go shopping and buy branded stuffs." I wonder what is her thinking now...

No. 3 and 4 commented well.

If i am one of the soon-to-be graduate, i will be thinking in a creative way and not be overly boiled down worrying if i can find a job and worst..no $ to get married! I wonder if such thinking is enbedded in the minds of most graduates? Of coz will first worried about job..but getting married? He/She is like blaming and waiting to see if the government is going to do anything about it, if not "no of ppl getting married will be decresed." Typical Singaporean's Entitlement mindset. Read up Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki's Why We want you to be rich. It says Entitlement midset is a dangerous mindset. Like some Americans, they awaits for their pension plans to retire,,but their pension fund with their govt is empty... maybe our cpf also?! A friend say the $ inside cpf can see cant touch. Unless u buy house, if not,it is not much use coz u cant take out.

Rather than spend time worrying and waiting for the govt, it is better to spend time thinking out of the box. What is my passion, how can i provide a service/goods that ppl will need and pay for it? These are vital questions and needs some start up capital. Go further, it is exploring overseas opportunity. Like the local Bee Man, he went to Rwanda to rear bees and sell honey to local communities, teach the locals how to rear bees and sell the honey.

One customer sells japanese stationaries online at her LJ site while studying at poly. She visits kino over the weekends to replenish her stocks. Most of her customers are Americans. The technology is waiting for ppl to leverage. The book, The World is Flat says, as long as 1 has a computer, it doesnt matter where on earth u r. You can do biz online. The author quote someone at a mountain top in India or a China man at coffee shop.

This blog is set up by a customer's bf. She is helping him now. It amazes me that this blog is started by a guy. This is what i call creatvivity. Just like Kimura Takuya sells lipsticks.

Received 47yo fren's email last nite. She said she signed up for Donald Trump university online course so she can learn how to set up an online biz. Kinda bizzare,,she is only starting a small online biz selling ipoh snacks...need to do this online course? If she is doing property releated biz, then i'll say it is a must to do this DT course. In biz, the basics is buy low sell high...maybe she follows our govt who said "must go upgrade during downturn!". She continued "long time no hear from u, u busy arh? when u free, want to go for dinner?" Dunno how to reply...

I hate to say at times, i do have low threshold for stupidity.

Dear Vonnie,
i think u can be tour guide for tokyo and bringing fans to concerts and shopping trips. It would be a unique service!~ esp spring and summer..coz got alot of live tours.
